A:Answer If you are using Windows 10 (and perhaps other versions, but can only test Windows 10 currently), in the display settings you can adjust the user interface/text scaling in the same area you adjust the monitor resolution. This is a great feature, as you point out the UI/text will always shrink as you up resolution. For me currently this is a 125% scaling for text and it's fine. You can also easily zoom webpages with the scroll wheel or key commands if something is too small.
This is a great monitor, especially at it's current price. Compared to many of the comparable ultra-wide montors which skew text or make it fuzzy, this monitor gives you a lot more screen real estate without being huge or stretching things and even supports easy to use side by side dual window viewing.
