Is this a modem router combination null

The ASUS Blue Cave AC2600 is a wireless router. It requires a separate modem. I'm using an ARRIS Surfboard S33, with it.

No.... it is a WiFi router/ Aimesh router. Hence, it works well with other Asus wifi mesh routers to give whole home coverage throughout a larger home. It can be used as just a wifi router connected to a internet modem..... or it can connect to a wifi router(preferably Asus) to extend/rebroadcast the signal.

The ASUS Blue Cave AC2600 is a wireless router. It requires a separate modem. I'm using an ARRIS Surfboard S33, with it.
