If no PCIe slot available, a USB wireless network adapter, that is supported, can be used. - Answer It MAY help, but your connection problems may have other problems. I had AT&T internet by way of a cell tower. And the tower would shut off sometimes in the night for upgrades or maintenance with no warning. Also the weather affected my connection and speed. I went with Spacelink. No problems now.

- Answer Yes it WILL. But Asus makes two other models that are faster.The AC1900 is the faster one at 1.3 Gbps. Then the AC1200 is next at 867Mbps. If you can afford it go with the AC1900 model.
