Yes you can bond to this extender. I have one in my garage and i did bond it to my openers and ring cameras. Yo can do it from within the app. You select the device and click bond, then select this node. I also named my devices as i connected them to the router so i can easily identity my devices. When you have 50 plus devices it gets confusing... hope i was able to help!
