QuestionIf this only has one 2.5G port, you have to connect your 2.5G modem into it and then you can't pass the 2.5G signal to your switch correct?

- Answer You can use the 2.5G for either the WAN (ISP Connection) or the LAN, depending on your modem and ISP speed. If you don't have over 1G internet, then don't use the 2.5G. If you do use the 2.5G for the WAN, then you can aggregate two 1G ports on the AXE11000 to a switch that supports link aggregation with two 1G ports on that switch.

QuestionQuestionI have Spectrum 1 gig internet. I use a TPLINK Ax6000 for my current router, I am not all that excited about it's throughput. Would this ASUS ROG GT-AX11000 be a excellent router upgrade. I have no WIFI6e devices at this time. Thanks

- Answer I can see why your asking because ASUS doesn’t really specify it’s distance. I have a two story 2300sf home and I have two ring camera approximately 75ft from the router and have no difficulty connecting to them of any other device in my home. Some sites have reported up to 100ft but consider your environment, obstacles and thickness and material of your home or apartment. I’m not disappointed!
