I had the same question! I love Asus computers over HP and apple. So I went to Best Buy to check this one out in person since they had it as a demo. The camera does not have the same angle/perspective because it is at the bottom. This is the one thing that made me not want to buy it because I do a lot of zoom calls and conferences and the perspective was just not flattering. I hope for future models they put it on top because it does make a difference
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is the worst. The computer is good but the location is terrible. I have to raise my whole laptop up then tilt it down. If anyone has a different solution other than an external camera then please share.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have this all-in-one for work and I hate the angle. During conference calls, it looks like I'm staring at the ceiling.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same problem: when using Teams or Zoom I always look as if I was staring at the ceiling. Therefore I cannot use this computer for meetings etc. Crap! How could AUS be so stupid as to put camera at the bottom of the screen? I really like ASUS but if I had known about this issue I would not have bought this pc...Not happy as I can see from these comments that nothing can be donw about it apart from using an external camera...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I went to Best Buy & asked the guy there about this , he started the camera and I was leveling myself as if I was sitting in front of the computer & the picture was ok ...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The position of the camera is really uncomfortable for videocalls. Nowadays, when it's so common to use videocalls at work or to study, this position of the camera is not convenient. Particularly if you want to take notes during the videocall, your fingers will be in the middle of the image, unless you use an external keyboard. So, what I've found so far is that to improve this, you should buy at least one external device, either a camera or a keyboard. For all the rest, this laptop is great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The perspective is horrible. There are two solutions. You can buy an external webcam or open the 2-in-1 laptop and set it up like a tent with the camera facing you. You can't use the keyboard in this position, and you'll have to change your zoom settings so the image isn't on its head. The computer is great - worth having if you ask me - but the camera location was a stupid move by asus. We'd all rather have the camera on top than a slightly thinner bezel.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you could tilt screen or sit further away from screen
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. With a near-invisible 2mm display bezel that gives you edge-to-edge visuals and an incredible 88% screen-to-body ratio, a camera will not fit on top. The camera location is still a good viewing angle.
