Yes the unit can be used for business

If you can get it for a good price, it’s not even that pricey for a gaming laptop. But, that said, if you’re going to be using this in a business environment, I would consider your customer base. I use this for work (and personal), but I work in IT so the toned down but still present gamer aesthetic gets me geek points (and that’s AFTER I’m very diligent about making sure that the “Republic of Gamers” sound effect on boot is turned off in the BIOS menu, which you have to reset after every BIOS update), Will your clients see this? If so, will they think it’s cool - or are they an either older, less tech savvy or conservative crowd who might see this as flashy excess in their financial advisor? You can certainly find a non-gaming branded laptop with similar CPU/RAM and maybe better battery life - if you ditch the dGPU - for even a better price that would appear more conservative. But that’s all about your business branding. Which is entirely up to you. If you’re purely asking can this laptop handle the workload involved in running an independent financial advisor practice, I have no doubt that it can.
