• It's fine keeping the ROG Ally X always in docked mode. We recommend enabling battery care mode in order to prolong the life of the battery.

• If you set it to max the charge out at 80%, then you will have no issue with keeping it plugged in all the time, my Z1 Extreme Ally has no issues with this.

• It’s like having a laptop always on charge. It might be best not to have it docked all the time. It is a handheld portable device. Deplete the battery and then charge it up
