QuestionI'm not seeing more than 60hz refresh rate on this unit, am I missing something? This was a huge selling point for me.

- Answer The display is only 60hzs. You can see it in display properties .... I purchased this laptop thinking it was 120hzs panel as well ..... So sad ....

QuestionI cant see the back panel from the images, does it have a dedicated hatch for the ram in order to upgrade the ram to 16gb? Or do we have to remove the whole back panel to make upgrades?

- Answer You have to remove the whole back panel. Not difficult but you will need a screwdriver and a guitar pic. There are videos online on how to do it. Debating 16 or 32 gb of ram. Running good so far on 8gb.

- Answer I use this laptop (with 16gb of RAM + a second 500gb SSD I installed) with Autodesk Inventor for modeling and small FEA simulations, Keyshot for rendering images and annimations, AutoCAD, and Adobe products with no issues. After a month of recommend it.

QuestionWhen opening the GeForce Experience program, I receive the 0x0001 error code. I have updated the video card driver directly from Nvidia, but the error code continues to occur. Has anyone had a similar experience or found a solution? Thank you

- Answer This happened to me but the error code was 0x0003. You can find solution on google for the 0x0001 but i remember it is close to what I did. I managed to fix mine by uninstalling all nvidia software on control panel and reinstalling GeForce experience. This basically reinstalls everything you uninstalled. Updating does not work so you have to remove all first. This error happens because of Windows auto update making compatibility with the gpu fail because it has old drivers.

- Answer There are 2 RAM slots in this laptop. It arrives with a single 8GB RAM module in one of the slots. The other slot is empty and ready for more RAM. I purchased an additional 16GB RAM module from Crucial.com for about $73 and inserted the RAM module into the empty RAM slot. (An 8GB RAM module would have cost about $38.) The memory works great, and I now have 24GB of RAM. You can download the Upgrade Guide from ASUS to show you how to remove the covers and insert the RAM module. Hope that helps.

- Answer Right? I was really disappointed when mine turned out to be a 60hz. After research it turns out they do MAKE one with the 120hz, however the one they sell at Best Buy is only 60hz. Nonetheless I got mine when it was on sale, and I'm happy with my laptop.

- Answer the display is a 60hz panel. There is option to adjust the refresh rate either up, or down.
