Yes - I cannot play games anymore on this "gaming" laptop because of the heat. I constantly get the overheating alarm after 5 minutes of play. All settings for the games are at minimum, the laptop is under volted, sufficiently ventilated, and fans are on overboost. The temp always maxs out. This laptop is crap.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It does not heat up really bad, just keep the fan at overboost and you will get amazing performance. I can run any game on it at max setting and get a solid 120 fps.

I use it on a desk with an external keyboard so I don't know about the keyboard getting hot but after about an hour everything starts to slow down and get choppy due to heat unless I set the fan to overboost. With overboost I can usually play for a couple hours before it starts to slow down. With overboost on the laptop is very very loud.
