It's the 7845HX and the refresh rate is 144Hz. I just unboxed mine and can verify that the product page on Best Buy's website matches what I received despite some answers from ASUS indicating otherwise.

It has 12 of the possible max 16 AMD Fire Range cores and they’re all essentially Performance cores. Also, by divvying its L3 cache up only among 12 cores (up to 24 threads) that’s more cache per core, so memory access is a little faster, partly making up for lack of the 16 cores you get in its big brother chip.

So this model has the 7845HX CPU. This is actually faster than the 7946HX for most people, as long as you need <= 24 threads to run on your 12-core processor. It also has a faster base clock. It also spreads its sizable L3 cache over fewer threads so L3 cache per thread (or core) is larger than on 7945HX that has 32 threads on 16 cores. Also, one might expect 7945HX to be 1/3 faster due to 1/3 more cores, but it throttles so that 7945HX is only 15% faster at most, and then only if you use cores 13-16. Most games use 4-12 cores max at a time: so upshot is 7845HX is better than 7945HX for most games. It’s a rare game that requires a 7945HX.
