“Did they fix the backlight bleed / screen overall problems and coil whine? . Because this is not normal even when they try to pretend is normal, its just not , even with high gpus other brands does not suffer this problem”

• This will vary by unit and is based on the quality control lottery. My particular laptop does not suffer from significant coil whine and does not suffer from major backlight bleeding. These types of quality control issues are likely to persist given the very aggressive pricing on the G18.

• The backlit bleed are random issues, not a design flaw. Coil-whine is common with powerful and high-performance video card, regardless of the brand name.
