QuestionAny way to know for sure if this board has the latest BIOS to be compatible with a 3rd Gen Ryzen 5 3600x? I'm reading that it may need a BIOS flash to do so.

- Answer As far as I know, AMD has already updated their bios on AM4 socket Motherboards. This means are able to run the 3rd generation Ryzen Processors on this motherboard. This includes the 3600x. Also saw a lot of stores selling this motherboard with the Ryzen 3600x as a bundle so that should mean they are compatible. ASUS's websites also states the socket is for 3rd, 2nd, and 1st generation AM4 processors. Check their website link: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-B450-F-GAMING/specifications/

QuestionI am new to PCs and this will be part of my first build, I noticed in the compatibility section it listed ethernet but not Wifi, should I be concerned since I cannot get an ethernet connection?

- Answer No need for concern, all you need is a usb WiFi dongle which can be bough on amazon for less than 20$. If you want faster speed though, BestBuy sells NetGear dongles, which are arguably the top brand. With the 24/7 support and decent software UI, NetGear has a higher price. Also remember to buy a Ryzen series chip made by AMD for this board. I use this board with a 7 2700x and a gtx 1060 gpu. I get at least 100 fps in all games at medium to high settings. Would recommend

- Answer Yeah. It'll work with both. But if the Mobo has been sitting on a shelf for more than 7 months, the bios is not updated to run the 3600. You'll have to flash the bios. But if you're buying it at Best buy, they should be able to flash the most recent bios for you. Just ask them. Mine that I bought a month ago had the very first bios update compatible with the 3600 from July of last year. But I'm in a fairly large city. If you're in the middle of no where Iowa it might have been on the shelf for a while. The 1660 will need updates Nvidia drivers once the system is up and running but that's easy enough to do with the Nvidia software on their website.

QuestionIn the box in which my motherboard came in says Ryzen 3000 series ready and Ryzen 2000 ready. Does that mean I still have to update my BIOS for the 3000 series? I’m getting a Ryzen 7 3700x this Tuesday can i just swap out my 2600 for the 3700x.

- Answer As long as the box says 3000 series ready, You should be able to plug in your 3700x right away. The Bios version that allows 3000 should always allow downgrading to 2000 series if needed. I built a system about two months ago and dropped my 3000 series in right away. Hope this helps!

- Answer Yes, but you hardly, if ever, see support for SLI or CrossFire. Unless you have a different purpose for using it other than gaming.

- Answer I bought the as a gift. The Bios was set to accept the 3600. It was the first Bios version for that processor. There were about 5 updates since the factory flash.. It's pretty easy to flash this board. Download the latest Bios to a thumb drive, from the bios go to EZ flash, choose the csv file from the thumb drive and let the install go.. It will reboot. That's it.. But you can use the 3600 out of the box as is. There may be a Bios update via a Asus Windows program which may be less intimidating. Quality board none the less. Better than most. IMHO

- Answer Unfortunately, no. The HP Omen Obelisk is a micro-ATX case and the Asus ROG Strix B450-F is an ATX motherboard. The case is too small to fit the motherboard, unless you heavily modify the case.
