• I beleive displayport is needed for the high refresh rate. Otherwise you might be locked at 60 hz.

• Depends on your Computer but it comes with HDMI and display port .... I have a laptop and had to buy a MINI DISPLAY PORT TO DP PORT CABLE

• Always use displayport over hdmi. Displayport cable was designed for pcs and have supported the higher refresh rates for years. The new HDMI cables support higher refresh rates and different things just make sure to check that. DVI also has the capability again just make sure you use the right type.

• I bought this monitor a couple days ago and I’m very happy with it. You don’t need to get any cables for the monitor because it comes with three cables In the box. 1x Standard computer monitor cable. 1x HDMI Cable . 1x 4K Display port cable.
