as long as its a 8th gen processor. It will say in the description, newer made I7 7700,7700k,8700,8700k,8086k are 8th gen. if it doesnt say 8th gen then look for 300 series chipset and 1151 socket
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For a 7 series CPU you will need a z270 motherboard. This is a z370 series board for 8th generation CPUs. So it will not be compatible.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Z370 supports only 8th Gen and 9th Gen Proc since its supports LGA 1151 socket new version which has more pins than 7th Gen. So you cannot use a 7th Gen Processor or below in this motherboard. I9, i7, i5, i3 are just nomenclature for Intel to segregate their product line by performance . Generation is different from this. Hope that helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it dose not support that cpu only 8th gen
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The specs on the board is made specifically for the 8 gen Intel I7 5 and 3 you can get a different Asus board for the older ones I believe the Z2 series is compatible the Golden rule is always been choose the CPU you want then pair it with the motherboard by the time you need to upgrade you will need to buy both again
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have an I7 8700k, the 7700 is the same socket so it should work perfect.
