• No, one or the other. Personally, I would stick with the 3090 you have. The jump in performance is not that major.

• No you won't have a dual GPU when you plug the 4090 XG Mobile in it will take over and be the dedicated graphic card until you disconnected and then your laptop will go back to the 3090
