Is there a warranty on the open box models? null

I purchased an Asus laptop open box in certified condition and Asus told me it only had a 90 day warranty.

Beings that the openbox laptops have been initialized before, the warranty begin date could be weeks for months prior to your date of purchase. Laptops generally come with 1 year of manufacturer warranty, so the year would start from the first owner's purchase date at minimum. That said, if you contact the laptop manufacturer and provide a copy of your receipt from BestBuy, I'm sure they will recalculate your warranty coverage to reflect your purchase date. I just bought the G14 openbox. The warranty start date on my unit is about 3 weeks ago, presumably when someone bought it new. I have yet to contact Asus to seek an adjustment, but I don't foresee a problem, given that BestBuy is an authorized retailer of Asus products.
