A:Answer The answer is always it depends on your usage. I upgraded a 21 G16 to this because I gave it to my son. Had a 2070 in it and could play anything I threw at it. The only problem I could foresee for future proof is RAM. New applications are taking more and more, and 16GB is pretty much the basic. You can upgrade it yourself, or take it into BB and have the Geek Squad folks do it easily. Bottom line, this laptop will get you at least 3 years playing top tier games, as long as you manage how much stuff you have loaded and running at once. Easily 5 years if you keep it clean and upgrade the Ram. Good luck!
