A:Answer I am pretty sure pcie3. Only the top of the line M16 with the 3070 comes with pcie4 according to the Asus website, and that model does not appear to be available on BB at the moment. Since it has two m2 slots, you can purchase a pcie4 as primary and swap pcie3 as secondary, but of course, that increases the cost. Pcie3 is plenty fast for most. Unless doing large seq file transfers, the real world difference is not as big as the performance specs appear. For example look at pcie3 vs pcie4 nvme drive comparisons for AAA game loading times. Closer to 10% faster vs the 50% on the spec sheet. Cheers!
