I think you need a Fios modem. There are no coaxial connections to the router. A modem will have the coaxial input and one RS232 connector that will connect to the router; probably have a phone connector too. Call Verizon and ask for a modem. They will probably have the Arris modem. That is the one cable uses and is most popular. You can buy the Arris modem as well. If you buy one you'll have to give Verizon the mac address of the modem to activate and connect to their network. Its a learning curve for sure. But the router works great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Fios can be configured two ways from the ONT. One is coax and the other is ethernet. Contact Verizon and have them enable ethernet on the ONT and then run an ethernet cable from the ONT to the router. They like to use coax so you think you have to continue renting their equipment.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. With Verizon, you dont use coax except for two reasons: you live in an apartment with Verizon ONT's in a central location, and theres no physical way to run ethernet to the unit/landlord refuses, in which case the only way to deliver internet is through MoCA, and you WILL need a Verizon branded router-NOT cable tv "DOCISS" modem. The other reason is you subscribe to Verizon TV service, in which you will need a Verizon branded router because it controls the cable boxes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is a router only. It still requires a modem to work. The coaxial cable hooks to the modem, the modem to the router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have a modem that's where your co axial would go then you'll plug in your router to the modem to able to use your wifi internet connection from your provider
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is the correct answer!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. On verizon you would need to be connected to the Verizon modem wich is inside of the ont box. An ethernet would be ran from the Verizon modem to the router.
