When playing games on your ASUS FX507ZV laptop, it’s recommended to have it plugged in for better performance. Here’s why: 1. Performance Boost: When your laptop is plugged in, it can draw maximum power from the charger, allowing the CPU and GPU to operate at their full potential. This results in better frame rates and smoother gameplay. 2. Battery Life: Playing games while charging won’t harm your laptop’s battery. Modern laptops often have built-in charge limiters that stop charging once the battery reaches full capacity. So, you can safely play games while keeping your laptop plugged in. 3. Battery Health: To extend your battery’s lifespan, consider setting a custom charge limit using software like MyAsus. This way, your laptop won’t constantly charge to 100%, which can help maintain battery health over time. In summary, play plugged in for optimal gaming performance, and use charge limit settings to balance battery longevity. Your laptop is designed to handle this setup effectively. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have it set up so that when my laptop is plugged in, it goes into Turbo Mode. When it's unplugged, it goes into silent mode. Anyway, yes, I would recommend plugging in for games as it does drain the battery pretty fast. But I wouldn't say it's damaging or anything. When not gaming and unplugged, the battery life last a pretty long time in my opinion.
