• A:Answer With only very very few exceptions, the rule of thumb is laptop GPU's are soldered to the motherboard for reasons I fail to comprehend. Thus the GPU decision becomes paramount. Ive only changed RAM, M.2 drives, fans, 2.5" SSDs, batteries, keyboards and wifi bt cards and cpu's. Never a GPU. I hope they stop jerking us around on this soon.
