• The monitor has a 3.5mm audio output for connecting speakers to the monitor. It also includes built-in 2W stereo speakers which are fairly good internal speakers.

• Yes you can hook up desk top speakers because the monitor has a aux cord on the bottom of the monitory that you can plug in without using the monitor speakers
