• A:Answer This laptop doesn't use an Intel EVO edition CPU or Processor. The RAM is upgradeable to a maximum size of 40GB in order to improve system performance. There is an 8GB onboard or soldered on the motherboard and a RAM slot that supports a maximum size of 32GB. The SSD can be upgraded to a maximum size of 4TB PCIe M.2 2280 SSD.

Q: QuestionStats say 16gb ram and 8gb on board. Are they including this 8gb onboard in the 16gb, does it have a 8gb sodimm stick or a 16gb? Also is there an extra m.2 slot in there or to upgrade storage or only replace current 1TB?

• A:Answer 16GB total between 8GB soldered onboard ram and 8GB SODIMM module. You can upgrade with up to 32GB non ECC, unbuffered 5600MHz stick which would raise total available system ram to 40GB. There is two NVMe slots inside, one occupied by the included 1TB drive, and a second empty one.

Q: QuestionHi. I just bought the Q533MJ because of the great specs. The power brick with this laptop is 200W, and is HUGE. Can this be powered with something smaller, preferably with a USB C connection?

• A:Answer I am the person the asked the original question. The answer is yes. I have a 100w charger and a good USB C-C cable, and it powers up just fine. I also chatted with the ASUS help desk about this, and the sure me it would work as well. It is slower than the 200W charger that is included, but it works fine.
