This OLED panel is indeed flicker free, with one caveat: you should use ASUSs built in screen dimmer to avoid any 'flickering' at lower brightness, though that flickering at the lower brightnesses (even without using their built in brightness slider) isn't perceptible, it's just a 'PWM' type of flicker - you can't see it at all, but select few people can have it strain their eyes and such. The low brightness you can achieve using their brightness slider and the normal windows brightness slider together (if you go below 60% in the windows brightness slider, that is when you can get PWM-style 'flickering') is quite low though, the screen can get very dim for use in a completely dark room.
