• Yes, the laptop has many colors available for keyboard backlighting. You do NOT need the ASUS Armoury app to control it. The best way to control it in Windows 11 is through Windows settings: Settings > Personalization > Dynamic Lighting

• Not sure about the flickering. You don't need the Armoury Crate app though. In Windows 11, you can control the backlight brightness and color in: Settings > Personalization > Dynamic Lighting

• I tune off the keyboard light. The keyboard light just lit once when the laptop start. I know it start working and like this setting.
