QuestionThis is listed as coming with 8gb of LPDDR5 4800 MHz memory. Is there another memory stick slot available to add a second 8gb stick of memory, and can you confirm that LPDDR5 4800 MHz is correct? Also any options for a 2nd SSD?

- Answer It’s 4800MHz and it’s soldered onto the board. You can not upgrade it and it’s a single slot. There’s only 1x NVMe slot.

QuestionCan you upgrade RAM for this laptop? How about SSD?

- Answer No, you can't. The RAM is all soldered. This would be the perfect laptop but for that. It has integrated graphics, which means that the graphics will take up part of the 8GB of RAM, so you will effectively have less than even the 8GB. It has a single SSD slot. You can replace it, but that means you will have to install Windows on the new SSD.

- Answer Yes, the ASUS Zenbook 14X OLED (Q410) does support stylus and you can search for the ASUS Active stylus SA200H to use with it as it is not included in the box.

- Answer The Q410 has 8 GB RAM per the manufacturer's website. There appears to be a misprint on the product page here. 16 GB RAM is only available on the upgraded model.

QuestionThere is a discrepancy between the RAM (16 GB in title lines, and 8 GB in specs online); and also the ports that are listed verses what I can see on the right and left side ports don't seem to add up to what I see listed in the specs. (2) Thunderboly.

- Answer I just purchased this machine and I can confirm that it does only have 8GB of RAM, not the 16GB advertised. It does have 2 Thunderbolt 4 / USB C ports in addition to the USB type A 3.2 and HDMI Ports.

- Answer Yes, you can disable the touchscreen on this model Q410VA. Here are the steps to follow: Press the Windows key + X. Select Device Manager. Find HID-Compliant touchscreen under Human Interface Devices. Right-click the device name and select Disable.

- Answer I have an older ASUS laptop with the same issue but have learned to deal with it. Another thing I noticed is that the cursor will randomly plop itself in the middle of other sentences if I hesitate in typing for a few seconds. Those are minor things though compared to the overall performance of the ASUS I purchased at least 8 years ago!
