You can try an external cooling pad that lets more air get underneath if you're using it on a table or maybe have a fan blowing across it when you game with it. Gaming machines have graphic systems that are designed to stay cool. Too much heat in a computer is not good as it will eventually melt all the solder joints. The one we bought gets warm watching movies but that's the extent of the graphic demand we put on it.
