- Answer I received the answer from ASUS today: It's 300 nits. This next piece of info is not exactly the answer to this question but it's related......just FYI: The color gamut is 100% sRGB.

QuestionWhat is this laptop made out of-plastic or aluminum?

- Answer Aluminum but that is about it for info as I can't get the back off yet. Need to order more TORX as it is very difficult to get a quality T4 and T5. I suspect it has a M.2 drive! Maybe! Also not sure what format the drive has for the Optane 32GBs. It may not have any available m.2 slots???? Or it could have an SATA SSD slot. No one knows at this point in time and it will be wed before I get another TORX set.

- Answer The Q528 uses Intel Iris by default. The NVIDIA GPU is used (automatically) only if you're gaming - if the Iris is at 100%, or even disabled, the NVIDIA will not be used unless you're gaming (which I found strange). The Intel or the Iris GPU can be disabled/enabled from Device Manager, no need to reboot. I'm not a gamer, but use multiple (4K) displays with lots of video streaming - I found the Intel Iris working great

- Answer Per Asus, the color gamut is 100% sRGB That's equivalent to approx. 70% - 75% in NTSC format and is considered "standard" or perfect for mainstream users and even for some professional photo or video editors. I have not been able to find the info on the nit count. Not even at ASUS' website. Such info should have been made readily available by either ASUS or BBY. Please help complain to BBY and ASUS (and many other manufacturers), folks :-)

- Answer I just bought the Wacom Bamboo Ink 2nd Gen Smart Stylus (Model:CS323AG0A, $50) from BBY a few days ago to try out and it's been working great! I love it! This pen meets the sensitivity of up to 4,096 pressure levels that this computer has. As for the battery, I've been consistently getting around 8.5 hours per charge for mixed (mostly light) uses. Hope this helps.

- Answer This ASUS flipbook is pretty heavy, but my old Dell laptop (made out of plastic) is heavier at over 5 lbs. AND cumbersome so that should give you something to think about. I bought a Microsoft Surface Pen for the flipbook and it works great!

- Answer Have used it for 4 hours on battery with no problem. At the end of 4 hours battery was at 70%. Hope that helped

- Answer It's late 2020. I bought mine last week, with build date Dec 2020. At the moment, BestBuy is the only place selling the Q528 - they sell it as Q528EH, but it's the same model. BestBuy usually does it in product names that's exclusively made for it
