- Answer It's about 16 1/2 " from jack to jack without being stretched - much too short to use as a wall phone, but would be ok on my night table. I purchased a longer coiled cord because I wanted to use it on my kitchen wall.

- Answer It's not a question of whether this phone "works with call waiting." The phone will work with call waiting. The question is, does the service provider of the landline service offer call waiting as one of the features of their service? Talk to the service provider.

- Answer I don't know why Rosie answered "no" to this question. The answer is YES! If you have voicemail through you service provider (AT&T, Comcast, Wow, etc) the phone has nothing to do with the voicemail, other than using it to call your assigned number from your service provider. ANY phone will work with service provider voicemail, as long as you're able to make calls. Maybe Rosie mistook you asking if this was a phone with an answering machine capabilities.

QuestionHow do you hang up the phone?

- Answer This phone comes with two ways to use. One is on the wall and the other is on a desk. On the base there is a list for emergency numbers. Take that list off the base and you will see a clip on top. That clip is what you use to hang up your phone. You can take that clip out and use it in the position you need. If clip is smooth with the holder for the phone, that is for the desk. If clip is raised in the middle, that is for the wall. Hope this helped.

- Answer You should be able to pop out the piece of plastic on the wall mount where the handset hangs from and flip it around. The shorter end is for using the phone flat on a desk and the longer side is for when the phone is mounted on the wall.
