A:AnswerIt has a standard phone jack that is currently the standard. If you have a really old phone wiring that uses 4 pins on a 1 inch square block and has not been upgraded to the current standard, you would need to change the outlet and/or get an adaptor. This older system was in use over 30 years ago.
A:AnswerWhy will the trimline wall phone not mount on the wall. I am told there is nothing on the back of the phone to connect to the mount.

A:AnswerYes you can get voice mails on this phone if you have it through the phone company. I have mine through my phone company. You just dial Into the access code or access number and you can retrieve your messages. You must plug the phone into a phone jack, This phone requires 4 AA (double A) batteries so the caller id can work. The phone can be used and will ring without the batteries but not give call information without the batteries. Works perfectly hope this information helps.
