The 240 DVDs claimed in the description is pretty accurate. Unfortunately, the shelves adjust only to CD or DVD height, not the in-between Blu-Ray height, so unless you store some of them horizontally it won't make for a huge difference (I'd say you might be able to cram close to 280 Blu-Rays in). Atlantic has other slightly larger options in black, just look through what's available.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yeah, it would be too small. Best bet would be those 3 shelf unit sold at walmart for about $20
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This cabinet is too small for your collection. It only holds up to 240 cds & I think 140 blu rays . I have a large cd collection, about 650; and bought this as a second cabinet. My first cabinet is a bit bigger & holds up to 600 cds . When I purchased this one I saw several options in the store that would work well for you that were also black . Unfortunately I cannot recommend a specific model but would suggest looking for one that holds 500 - 600 movies so you have room to grow your collection
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This isn't going to realistically fit even half of those DVDs. I was able to get a mix of about 100 DVDs and Blurays. That doesn't include the ones at the very top that I put in CD sleeves rather than leaving them in the boxes. I've attached a photo of what mine looks like. You would need either two of these (which it actually is compact enough to buy 2 and still not have it take up a lot of space or a bigger one. Atlantic actually makes 2 bigger ones. Really just depends on how much space you want to take up. Both are about $80 and come in black.
I would recommend:
