- Answer There are two answers to this question, as Best Buy has two different Atlantic models both called Elite, as they've "upgraded" from an old one. I have both, and the old one is designed only for DVD/Blu-rays. The new one, which I believe would be the one you'd get if your order now, has a middle shelf sized only for CDs. Since this is nearly 2016, I have no reason for a CD shelf, so I put little movie-related figures or whatever on them. Still looks good IMHO. See attached picture. Shelf on left is current model listed as "Elite." Shelf on the right is shorter, but holds the same amount of DVDs.

- Answer Yes. It's assembled in 2 parts top and bottom. Takes 2 people to put them together. Mines are mounted to the wall. Not too sturdy if not mounted. Tends to keep coming apart the 2 halves. No problems once mounted.

- Answer No it won’t as long you use the brackets it comes with and screw them to the wall and the shelves is pretty sturdy once you screw it to the wall but if you don’t it will fall over hope this help
