If you use the cable that comes with it make sure the unit is set on line not phono. Line uses the internal amp so you can connect it to any line in or powered speaker's.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Connect headphones to the 3.5 mm stereo Analog Out jack on the rear of the turntable. Make certain that the preamp selector switch located next to the jack is set to the LINE position for this test. Do you hear the record playing in the headphones? If you do, the turntable is ok. If you do not, remove then reinstall the stylus (needle) assembly as if you were replacing it with a new assembly.
