Will this work on a Technics SL-2000? null

Unfamiliar with SL-2000 but if cartridge mount is the very common (2) screw mount then yes. This cartridge comes with a removable mounting bracket. The picture posted on the Best Buy site is with the bracket removed. I own a Panasonic SL-H401 from around 1980 and this cartridge will work with it.
