No, it is belt drive. If you are looking for a direct-drive model, consider our AT-LP5, AT-LP120XUSB, AT-LP140XP or AT-LP1240-USBXP Turntables instead. Please note that these models will be fully MANUAL in operation, not fully automatic in operation however. The AT-LP140XP does NOT have a built in phono preamplifier.
