I am not a tech expert, but as a general consumer using this adapter I have seen no distortion or weakening of the signal from ultra HD dvd player to my 4K TV- It helped with space saving/cord management for me and I like it!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is absolutely no distortion or weakness whatsoever! Audioquest is well known for their premium quality cables & interconnects. I use 2 of these on 3) inputs to my LG 4K OLED with perfect results. Plug 2 in to reverse the cable direction 180 degrees back to the center of the TV. See attached photos.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If its made right and functioning properly then NO it shouldnt cause any kind of distortion or resolution change. I bought 2 for a 4k tv that will need to pass 4k/60p & HDR signals so emailed AudioQuest support and they told me that these adapters are High Speed rated and will not degrade the Audio or Video Signals.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This does not distort the image quality at all. It's a simple 90 degree turn that allows you to have the HDMI cable flush with the back of a TV and thereby letting you hang the TV closer to a wall.
