To be very honest, you are paying for the brand AND the quality behind the cable. Audioquest knows what they’re doing when they make a cable. I would put my money toward this HDMI cable compared to cheap Amazon HDMI cables, because at least with Audioquest…you know it will be well made, will perform exceptionally, and you will have the confidence of plugging it in and work like a real HDMI 2.1 cable should perform.
