Since you are not replacing your whole lock, you can use your key that came with you lock. You get warnings about the batteries life from the APP. Replace the batteries when the APP tells you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Very easy, just press the bottom part of face of lock and it comes off, then when removing cover you can see the batteries. Replace batteries and place cover back on (cover is magnetically attached to body of lock). Hope this helps

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The outside part of the unit is your original lock, so you would use the original key. On the inside, the mechanism can be turned manually almost like a doorknob.
