Q: QuestionCan you share pictures in multiple pictures frames with family members in different homes.

• A:Answer Yes. You manage your pictures and your frames in the Aura app. My grandmother and my sister each have a frame and I can easily add pictures to both. During setup, the frame “owner” will need to invite you to add pictures. I have cousins all over the country and we are all able to add photos to our grandmother’s frame. Best gift we ever gave her because it keeps on giving.

• A:Answer The frame itself doesn’t hold the pictures. They are stored in the Aura app, with unlimited storage capacity. The frame has to be connected to Wifi to show the pictures though.

• A:Answer By default, your frame automatically adjusts to the brightness in the room, turning off when it's dark and on when it senses light. This setting is called "Auto" On & Off. To override this feature, you can schedule your frame to turn on and off at the same time everyday. You can also use the Touch Bar (on Mason, Sawyer, Smith and Carver models) to manually turn it off or simply pull the plug out of the bag since this will neither damage your frame nor lose any of your files.

• A:Answer To connect your Aura frame you will require a 2.4 GHz WiFi network connection. The 2.4GHz standard is supported by 99% of home networks. Although the 5GHz (802.11 ac) frequency band is faster, Aura Frames use the 2.4GHz band because it is supported by almost all residential routers, consumes less power, penetrates obstructions and extends over a broader range. All of these benefits ensure that our frames operate more reliably in a variety of different environments and locations.

Q: QuestionHow many seconds of a video will it play? Can you upload photos and videos using WiFi?

• A:Answer Video length is limited to 30 seconds which in our estimate covers about 75% of videos on the average user's smartphone. Similar to photos, there is no storage limit but it will of course take longer to upload videos since they are typically 5-10 times the size of photos. For fastest uploads, please keep your app open (in the foreground), and your smart device plugged in and connected to WiFi.

• A:Answer Technically yes however photo / video uploads and occasional firmware updates may require multiple gigabytes of data per month so we strongly recommend you use WiFi rather than a mobile data plan or hotspot.

Q: QuestionI currently have about 25,000 photos in JPEG format stored on a computer with a Windows OS (currently 10 - may upgrade to Windows 11). Can I easily transfer this many photos to the cloud from my computer using your app? Why do you say 10,000+?
