“can one see Saturn's rings, and Jupiter's moons with this spotting scope? It seems it would be better for a child than a telescope or binoculars for watching the stars and planets, but how good is it for this use?”

• Oooops..... I didn't try yet but scope is work well about then my bare eye^^ 300 yard distance working well but not sure to the Moon........ I will try ....

• You will not be able to see the rings or moons with this spotting scope. This scope is not for looking at astronomy. A telescope would offer more zoomed in images. The effective range of this spotting scope is Max approx. 800yds.
