Use a drill and metal cutter tip tool in a Dremel to cut two slots in the top of the Garmin aluminum mounting frame, then use cable ties (can be cut with knife) or as I did, use two 6" worm hose clamps fed through the slots and around the camera. Have to undue the hose clamp to change batteries but will prevent the camera (BC40) from simply being taken.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If one uses allen wrench license plate screws, it is unlikely they will get the mounting bracket off. But the camera could be taken, as it snaps into the bracket. I may consider taking it off in certain environments.
