The obvious answer is anything made by Bosé as they have the greatest sound quality there is. But Bosé is expensive by nature so it all depends on what you are looking for. Personally I like Bluetooth headphones as the wires don't get in the way but since you want wires and do a lot of traveling, I would recommend the Sennheiser HD 599 SE Around Ear Open Back Headphone. It costs around $200, has a 3 year protection plan & is one of the best quality sounds you'll get outside our Bosé.

Please try again later.For airplanes with 3.5mm audio ports, you can use and Beats Headphones that use a RemoteTalk control cable with 3.5mm connector end like Beats Solo 3 Wireless, Beats Studio 3 Wireless, Beats EP, or urBeats3 headphones with 3.5mm connector. For airplanes where you can watch content saved on your personal device in airplane mode, you can use any wireless Beats headphone or earphone as long as your device is Bluetooth capable.
