Heck no you can't get them fixed by apple because apple's warranty oeriod is terribly short and Apple does not stand behind their C_ _ P !!! Maybe, just MAYBE, you can buy parts from Bestbuy and replace the flaking pieces yourself, but trying to schedule an appointment online with the geek squad is almost impossible.
