- Answer im not sure you can turn off the mic. I'm pretty sure thats the sole purpose of it being wireless. so that your able to use it however you'd choose. I'm not sure if it can differentiate the difference between you actually wanted it to work and not.

QuestionWhich cable do I need to connect Beats Studio 2 to my home audio system? When I connect them to my Denon receiver using the original cable which came in a box and 3.5mm TRS to 1/4'' plug adaptor, the sound is very distorted.

- Answer I plugged in the audio cable that has that has 3.5 mm connectors on both ends. I plugged the end with the controls into the headphones and used a 3.5mm to 1/4 inch adapter and plugged into the 1/4 inch phono jack on my Audio Source One pre amp set to normal volume. The Beats headphones have to be powered up.
