It looks like your computer doesn't support Ethernet connection, LindaLee. Since it has a USB 3.1 port, it means that you can use the Belkin - USB 2.0-to-Ethernet Adapter to wire this computer to the Ethernet port in the office.

Once you plug this into your usb port, it should automatically download the drivers and then you plug the Ethernet cable into the other end. At this point your connection should be hard wired, not wireless. But your laptop must have a standard usb port for this to work.

Please try again later.you are out of luck. you will have to purchase additional products to be able to PLUG YOUR BRAND NEW VERY EXPENSIVE COMPUTER to the internet. you will pay more and not be happy. i already returned mine and purchased a comp with an ethernet connection
