Q: QuestionI just recently bought another kind of CAC reader that also ran MAC OS, but it didn’t work for me due to the fact that I’m running apples newest MAC OS 11, will this work with MAC OS 11?

• A:Answer Hi, Jaynasa. The Belkin F1DN008 is not tested with it. Thus, the required OS for the Belkin F1DN008 are Apple MacOS, Microsoft Windows 7 or higher, Linux (64-bit), and Microsoft Windows Embedded.

• A:Answer I don't believe it will. CAC readers require software to be installed in order to properly function, and the Chromebooks are not capable of downloading external programs.

• A:Answer No. Most up to date operating systems have the drivers. For instance, I had no problem both on Mac and Windows 10. However, what you may need is software that will actually know how to use it. For instance, OpenSC may be needed.
