- Answer I purchased one for my wife, she has android phone, it will not charge it, it does not work on anything but an IPhone… that’s my experience Although the salespeople at Best Buy said it would, I am not blaming or talking down the Best Buy Team But I tried it with 3 different phones, Samsung Galaxy Motorola 5g iPhone 11 plus Only worked with the IPhone

QuestionSO I bought this as a gift. It only works when plugged in? but this is a wireless charger so why doesn't it work when fully charged with no wire?? If its not a wireless charger it should not be marketed like this? thanks!

- Answer Not sure if you've received an answer yet but my explanation would be that the 'wireless' part of this charger is from the charger to the device. The iphone or AirPods do not have to be plugged into IT in order to charge - that's where the 'wireless' part comes in. It sounds like you may have been thinking about a portable charger - once it is fully charged, you can take it with you to plug your devices into for charging. Hope this was helpful.
