“Does this microwave oven use "inverter technology" or does it pulse full power to achieve reduced power settings?”

No apparent inverter, crude pulse width modulation (PWM)- i.e., on and off depending on the intensity selected.

It is a constant, no pulse unless you are using defrost. (hate defrost, takes too long ;) )
