- Answer Does all 3. Two inserts provided for hard/soft boiled and poached. There is a small plastic measuring cup included for the water. You use different amounts of water for soft or hard boiled or poached. Easy peasy!!!

QuestionFor Soft, Medium, and Hard Boiled eggs, on the measuring cup there is not a line, but a range for each. How do you know how high to fill the water within each range?

- Answer There is a line, which is very hard to see. I held the cup up to the light and marked each line with a black sharpie.
